Dad's operation went well and hes discharged already! Yay!

Hes not really very mobile yet though, still has to remain in bed most of the time.

Well, at least everything's okay now, and i know that he'll recover :)

I have no idea how many times i jumped outta my chair smashing my movement button in the process.

No kidding, its one helluva scary FPS game. Enemies don't appear in front of you, they appear 360 around you. Which makes you (or me) turn in circles like a moron whenever i hear something weird.

Plus its freaking dark like, everywhere? Didn't know the day that i would make my flashlight my wife would come.

I couldnt even complete the game, could only last like half of it?

Buuut, if i had to rate this game, its a 4.9/5 - and the o.1 is cuz its too scary (fine, my fault damn it).

Doom 3 has got super great weapon designs, sound effects, enemy design and creative objectives. What's the best are its map designs and "freak the player out" elements. The maps are so wondrously done it really adds on to the freaky aspect. It's not just blood-smeared walls or dead screwed up bodies scattered everywhere, its even more than that, and they do it such a way it doesn't go overboard and make it look poorly done.

Come to think of it, its just tooooooooo similiar to Quake 4 (Not suprising, producers are the same) But im pretty sure they toned down a lot in Quake 4 given the fact that i could at least finish it.

Either way, im definitely taking a break from it. Im gonna go do something more merry like playing Hello Kitty.

So busy~

Wah... Past few days soo busy didnt have time to blog. Lucky tml is Sat so i can sleep late, else I'd be skinned alive by now.

Just finished my hmw, although there's still chem, but I'm good at procastinating, I'm proud of it :D.

The past few days were quite fun. I kena chem rep (so ironic, chem rep don't do chem hmw one..), cuz i all the while 've been slacking.

MT was like totally chaotic. Even the teacher was like asking if we okay or not xD. Couldn't stop laughing. Like, finally manage to settle down end up start going mad again. It makes chinese lesson especially fun though :D.

Totally couldn't get physics, was acting smart all the way with occasional, fake ooohss (Nods head).

A Maths... no explanation needed.

Oh! During SS teacher was like saying we get to play the iPhone for 3 weeks straight. Sad that it's educational though, can't tahan playing that for 3 weeks ._. Only selected/voluntary people get it, I'm glad lol.

Got to meet our P.E teacher for the first time, he's so amusing. No, really, he IS amusing. He feels very one of us xD. It's great to have such a young and sporty teacher for P.E. He doesn't seem to have a temper either haha xD.

Bio, dam sick, you guys don't wanna know about it :D.

Wed's string was fun. Practiced Canon for concert, could finally play in harmony, well at least only for me and xian long. It's very nice, if can get to hear 2 violins "talking" to each other, especially if you're the one playing it xD.

Had camp briefing today, heard from miss ong that the paper was the grouping list, sad for kevin, he's with Be- Ahem. Anyway, i very happy :D, grouped with jin hua, jin chang and terence xD.

The camp looks fun, but dunnoe really fun or not, i kena phobia of camps ever since the LTC one so hope this one is okay.

I hope 3A would talk more D: I know some of you there very mad one lor! Just that don't want show only, like me :P.

Stayed back today to prepare for CCA fair. Laughed a lot, really A LOT. First was with our teacher(s) in charge, then after that with people doing poster, then with teacher(s) in charge again xD. Quite slack, for me, cuz i doing PA, so be prepared to hear me yak on CCA fair day xD.

Of course i got do some work also lah.. Like running around sec 1 classes and go anyhow shoot staple bullets on notice boards.

Learnt this joke in school, can try at home xD. Ask shawn for more details haha.

Come back home mug all my hmw T_T. Dowan to do anything concerning hmw on sat and sun, so try to @#&*&@ all hmw. Succeeded nia mwahaha, except for chem :D.

Day 2.

My senior freak me out early in the morning sia... When reaching school already she sms me say,

"2nd day of school late already? lol."

I'm like, I'M LATE!!??? I panicked, like really panic. Then after that she tell me forgot that Tues start 1 hr later..

Got no vocab for first week so instead go for assembly, even though not suppose to have de. Good for us anyway, cuz it took up half an hour of our chem lesson :D.

Our chem teacher is Rosemary Lim. Quite surprised haha, but she's nice.

During bio, this tall and fa- errr, big-sized woman came in. She's nice though haha. But one thing is that her expectations of us are like, :O, mainly because we are 3A. Like wtf?

She's like saying Bio S.P.A must get full marks, MCQ must score at least 35/40 and overall must be above 85%.

But i think it's possible lah... Like hey it's bio! S.P.A should be especially easy and pleasurable when it comes to :O. You know what i mean, yea? Meh heheh...

Recess... wanted to eat in the end buy drink only. Most of the time wasted in buying uni and books. Luckily i cut queue, if not i wou- Ah?. Who said i cut queue? You didn't hear anything, yeap, nothing at all.

Got our chance to meet our A Maths teacher. A young one, but... She looks so weary. Like so tired from teaching us Sec 3s haha. She's ok, just that her style of teaching is so teenager. I mean, she says stuff like yah, lah, ah, hor.

Then Geog was... very lame.

This was the first time I've seen a teacher start her first lesson like this.

On the powerpoint,

"Fortunately for you, i have a sore-throat, thus you will do self-work." Or something like that.

No wonder why she didn't greet us back at first..

She did try to teach us though, in which i find something that is respectable. Her sore-throat seemed as though her voicebox wasn't there. Guess it was kinda serious O_o.

After that last lesson is chinese. Got this teacher come into our class say, "3A chinese students go to 3C for lesson."

I lag for quite some time.

Only after i went into the class, THEN i realised i was in dave's class.

Totally awesome.

Sitting on a place with dave in front and jin hua beside can make the person kena stomach pain, like me. Literally can train abs for NAPFA this year.

Our chinese teacher was... Erm, sadly to say, quite sad. She like try to make an effort to make jokes occasionally but ends up with only herself giggling at it.

Dave as usual, so bastard one, purposely giggle with her. You get idea.

I spend my entire chinese lesson day-dreaming cuz of two things, I dunnoe what's going on and i just can't help not knowing what's going on.

Went home quickly started on A maths hmw... I like spend 3 whole hours on 1.1 and 1.2. Go exam like that sure gone case. But the reason i took so long was everytime i will have careless mistake, then i end up staring at the folscape with a face that says, "What *ahem* went wrong." I did that for all the questions... Yea, unbelievable.

Today was quite a long day. But it's interesting though, :D.

First day of school, with long pants xD

I'm soo surprised i could wake up properly today haha. Wearing the long pants was kinda weird at first but got used to it later, cuz everyone's wearing it too xD. Saw a LOT of familiar faces when i went to school. Very interesting to see how the other guys look in long pants xD.

3A located in some corner at the back, kinda weird arrangement though.

When went in immediately went to find Jin Hua and co.

Was shocked to find out there were more girls than guys.

You know, i thought 3A would be the very quiet, obedient, and attentive class.

After today, I'm shocked yet happy that that wasn't the case at all.

People think 3A students are geeks who only study everyday. Well, that was my perspective at first. But, this year's 3A is gonna be different. Who says we don't know how to go gaga and play? Well, we do :).

Found out that form teacher was Miss Ong (Gahh!! The horror!!). I thought that I will literally dry out with her as my form teacher BUT, again, i was wrong, very wrong. She's a nicer person that i thought she is, a lot nicer in fact. She's got a sense of humor too.

The thing I'm most surprised is, she actually hope that we would organize class BBQ's and chalets. Not to mention she hopes that we would celebrate each others' b'days too.

She can be a rather, erm... hateful person in my CCA, but i think it's because we don't know her enough, also plus the fact that she herself doesn't play a violin/viola/cello/double bass so it's not surprising she can't understand the difficulty of playing one.

Went for assembly after playing some spastic yet fun introduction games. Boring as usual, kena numbness in my legs, yawned countless times. Yup, some things don't change xD.

Got back and realised that E Math teacher was Miss Luar. I'm so darn happy. But I didn't know she gets really serious during class. I mean, she's a hilarious and friendly outside class. Well, doesn't matter, since i got see her cheerful side :D.

Her way of teaching is something new to me too. She goes reeeaaallly fast. She skipped like Ex 2.1 and 2.2 and immediately went on to 2.3. She's like saying she expects us to understand those two already. It's cope-able though, surprisingly :X.

After Maths went for yet another assembly, same scenario.

Went for string after making noise in 3A class with our violins xD.

Couldnt recognise Pearlyn when she came into music room ><. Psps :P.

After string had to stay back for meeting about the fair next week... Got lotsa stuff to do Dx.

Come back home and did finish Maths, Wow! (Yea i know, self complimenting) So now I'm blogging.

A new beginning, with a few changes :P.

Today last day of holidays ler... It was already over actually.

I just "inherited" my Dad's com, I feel like I'm using some supercomputer from the future, even though it's not a high-end comp. Now i really wonder how i could take the old comp's speed O_o.

Going back to school tml morning, hope that this year will be as awesome as the last. I'll be seeing a lot of familiar faces, to my relief. Couldn't get to 3B but oh well, I've done what i could do, so i guess it's time to make some new friends~.

Wanted to go look at the classlist to get an idea who are the people I'm gonna spend 2 years with, but.. they seem to take it out already. Kinda keeps me in suspense actually, like wondering who i will see tml and go, "omg it's youuu~!" xD.

Can't believe I'm wearing long pants tml... Hope I'm not the only one who complains about it :P. Hmm... now that i think about it, I wonder if i can crawl out of bed tml...

Dunnoe what to bring for tml but feel like bringing quite a lot and dump everything at school. I mean, that's what i did during these 2 years. Some things just don't change :X. Thinking of changing into a slingbag, after dumping everything at school. See first though, may be too lazy to even go get one xD.

I'm still stuck with register no. 8 can you believe it? Lol, I've been occupying that index since sec 1. Wonder if it's mere coincidence...

But after that realised i know quite a few teachers, like Miss Luar (I was so god damn happy when i saw she's under maths and SS). Mrs Eng and Rosemary. Also realised recess time change and go back home later on Wed, I don't mind though cuz got CCA on Wed :D.

Come to think of it... I'm not sure if we're supposed to wear long pants tml, even though I'm quite positive.

I Killed Him! xD

And to think it's on my second try too xD.

Waha, the guides were right, just that it wasn't too accurate. My first try i keep spamming Flying Swallow. It didn't damage him to half life, but i still got killed.

On second try, i purposely go near him, used my ninpo. Since I'm invincible, his attacks are rendered useless, at least temporarily ><. Once he got hit by my fiery fire (fiery fire...hmm...) He gets stunned for a split second, that's when i come in.

Flying Swallow!!! Swoop! He gets hit.

He's pretty near me after the hit so i just repeat the ninpo part xD

And the best part is, i have my 2 great devil elixiers left, which totally save my life.

Okay now that i've completed, i wenta replay the game again 8D. Just that THIS time, i used a guide :D. Realised that i missed dunnoe how many Lives of the Thousand Gods, not to mention Life of the Gods and Golden Scarabs T_T. I'm at chapter 13 now, and my health's like, more than half the screen? And i got 5, FIVE, Ninpo usage. That's like, :O.

But one weird thing when i replayed. The whole thing got so easy... It's still on Normal mode, I'm sure of it. I got through all chapters without breaking a sweat, like seriously, compared to my first attempt. I think it's probably i know what the heck is gonna come at me next, which means i know how and what to do.

Oh yah, i attempted Hard mode. I play until chapter 2 only don't want continue ler :X. I stopped directly at chapter 2's boss, I didn't want to know what kind of freaky damage he can do to me ><.

There are multiple things that made me kinda give up.

1) Damage dealt to you has increased. I can say, dramatically.

2) Damage dealt to enemies have decreased.

3) Yellow Essence absorption has decreased.

4) A.I are now smarter and EVEN more aggresive.

5) New, badder, bigger, %*(#&%_)@* enemies.

6) In the shop, all item costs have doubled.

After observing all these, i thus stopped at chapter two. I mean, one pathetic Elixier of Spiritual Life costs 1000 essence -__-.

Chapter one was totally alright, accept for the extreme last part including the boss. The part is where hordes of Ninjas keep coming down on you just before the boss room. What's the difference? These "Ninjas" are the strongest ones you will find in Normal mode. Not bad enough? They can throw explosive shurikens that explode if stuck on you. Still not bad? They can grab. That's the worst, worst thing man. Don't forget to apply all the changes up there.

The boss, it was suppose to be a one on one battle. But that guy brought company with him T_T. And the company ain't good news. I feel like as if I'm fighting 2 bosses at the same time. I still got through nonetheless, after dying once (Wow~ xD).

Oh yeah, i also found out looooots looots new tips on how to totally own bosses when replaying that weren't even mentioned in guides. And suprisingly, they are extremely effective, I've tried it so i know it. I'll probably post that in tml's post, after completing the game, again xD.

There's also something that I got the shock of my life, but I'll leave that for tml xD.

Ninja Comeback?

Okay, i just read some guides on how to kill him. It seems that i have to go the noob way -_-.

Constantly using Flying Swallow should kill him pretty quick, at least, that's what the guides says.

I also learned some tips on how to avoid all of his attacks.

For some reason, all the guides i've read say that he's the most disappointing last boss. T_T Man, i gotta buck up my fighting skills. But maybe it's cause I'm left with no potions...

Oh yah on that, i didn't know i could actually run all the way back to the last shop... That would be like, all my potions back T_T.

Meh, I'm gonna kill that muthabeep tomorrow, rawr!! Feel ze wrath of me blade!!!

Ninja got pooped.

Aw man... 2 games are supposed to reach my by now but dunnoe why it's still not here yet!! T_T.

Anyways, continued Ninja Gaiden. I managed to play until the final boss but... i couldn't get through T_T. Here's why. (Starting from the last shop visit)

Proceeded to the lion gate. Killed bunch of enemies and moved on.

Battled with Doku (Boss). Proceeded on.

Saved at save point and went left.

Had to survive the, "always dmg so high" ghost pirahnas.

Got the key to open door.

Went back, survive the darn fishes again.

Open door, entered room, battled 10 Red lizards.

Left the room, went upstairs, surviving pirahnas along the way.

Entered second room, battled another 10 lizards.

Left room, went upstairs, surviving pirahnas along the way (Yet again..)

Entered third room, fought 4 fiend tankers

Left room, went upstairs, you know what happened.

Entered last room, battled 5 lizards and 5 tankers.

Left room, pirahnas again, reached the top.

Recovered health, save and entered portal.

Slaughtered some small fry-s, battled a sub-boss after that.

Killed some more small fry-s, battled ANOTHER sub-boss.

Fought the deity of destruction (Boss). Acquired some darn statue.

Went back, placed statue, save, continue upstairs

Fought The Emperor (Boss).

Fought the second emperor (Boss).

Up till here, i wanted to cry already. Not even one merchant was there to replenish my health supplies. At this point, i have exhausted all my health supplies, long range weapons, and revival talismans. All i have left is 2 great devil elixiers.

I didn't know how i can even survive till here...

-Escaped the magma cave, encounter with last boss.

From here, i have to kill him within ONE life. That's like wtf? I depended on my Ninpo greatly at this point but it didn't work. It did save me from receiving a few hits though.

The last boss is a total bastard, his one hit to you breaks your guard and the next hit depletes 1/4 your life. Dodging immediately after guard breaking and squeezing in an attack is the only way but i keep losing my momentum. And to think he's so darn fast too T_T.

Actually, if he didn't have that grab skill, i maybe, MAYBE, could've won. Everytime guard, dodge, thought can escape woopie! Got grabbed. 1/4 life goneT_T.

Ah well, gonna try again tml. I'm bent on killing him ><.

Ninjaaaaaaa!

Woots! Tried out Ninja Gaiden xD. The game is so darn hard though T_T even though the difficulty is normal. Your enemies aren't your average adversaries. They attack frequently, not giving you a chance to properly finish a regular combo.

The block button is your only life saver. Without it, you'll get killed within seconds. This game is like the only one so far that tests your RPG action skills. For me, it's the first game that i've seen the word "Game Over" so many times T_T.

You have to use correct moves to finish off certain enemies. Like those who ride on bikes, you gotta jump towards them and perform a grabbing skill to throw them off the bike. It's not easy, you have to time it correctly else you'll get rammed by the bike and realise 1/2 your life i gone -__-.

Normal encounters are a real pain too. Their damage to you is like, crazy. What's worse you can't block against their Grab attacks which also deal a great amount of damage. This also means that you can't block forever. Also, your surrondings affect your battle outcome. For me, the crampier the place is, the better. The walls are my buddies :D. Because of Wall Run and the kicking off walls, it's possible to get behind an enemy and backstab.

However, the A.I is especially smart too. Normally enemies don't jump around and attack aggresively. In this case, they DO jump around (Well, they're ninjas after all..) and attack you in a style like a real human. They don't like giving up opponents either so running away isn't an option. Totally not for those who repeatedly mash the square button, they'll get owned.

I was so darn shocked when i keep getting the master ninja rank at the end of every chapter. I realised soon after that the only reason i got it is because they didn't count the "How many times you have died". Also, they decide your rank on how frequent you use your ninpo (Special devastating attack skills).

I didn't know how to use it (Sorry for being noob T_T). Didn't know you gotta press 2 buttons consecutively to execute it. So i played every chapter without using any, in which i realised if i DID use it, i could've go through a bit easier. Explains why the rank at every end of a chapter xD (Heh heh... Pure skill man :DDDD)

PS3 Register-Epic fail

Yesterday, got some stuffs happen. My sis was mugging NTU, like seriously mugging o_o. She suddenly called me and didn't say much at all. THEN, i realised she was actually under stress...O_o. It freaked the crap outta me man. Guess she couldn't tahan the stress she's taking in uni... I mean, her tests last like at least 3 weeks!? Plus the fact that she's alone in the hostel studying.

So, yesterday i wenta NTU 9am in the morning to go comfort my jie as well as cheer her up. Man, looong trip (it's even further in pioneer) but it was okay, i'd do anything for my sis. For some reason, once i reached there, the room became some party house O_o. We didn't say anything at all about yesterday, yesterday. We just wenta play hard.

The plan was supposed to be i go there just for the sake of my presence there. She was then supposed to study while i read some books. Well, that was planned by my parents but was foiled by yours truly :D.

Wenta play with the com and ordered pizza hut for lunch :D. Couldn't believe it, we both finished a regular pizza each! :O. Lotsa stupid stuff happened, both of us were like laughing like nobody's business. Hope the neighbours didn't hear anything :D.

We watched this anime named Hitman: Reborn or something like that. Oh buddha it was so screwed. The main character was to be the 10th mafia boss but he was just a normal (well not normal, a loser, wimp, and not able to study properly) student. Then the current mafia boss (The 9th) sent this baby named reborn to train him to become a proper mafia boss (No kidding, reborn was seriously the size of a baby O_O)

Reborn seemed to know everything though. The funny part was when the main character was shot by a Dying Will bullet for the first time (If the person has regrets and was shot by a dying will bullet, he/she will revive and fufill that will.) Thus during that time, the main character's regret was not being able to confess to a girl.

He got shot by reborn, fell to the ground and there's this flame that appeared on his forehead (It probably signified he was in "that" mode)

He got up real quick

Bursting his clothes in the process, leaving only his boxers.

He screamed, "REEBORRN!!!!"

And started dashing for the girl.

When he reached her, he was like screaming, "Please go out with me!!"

...

In his boxers...

And the flame on his forehead went, "Pshh..."

Ya should know what happened after that xD.

Went home at around 4.30pm++. She was totally back to her old self after that, I'm glad xD.

When reached home was busy playing the PS3 when my dad suddenly came me and told me to register it for warranty. it was like 8pm man.. And i only started playing at 7pm cuz by the time i reached home, eat dinner, bathe it was that late already. I went to do it anyways, since i have the holidays to play.

But the problem is, i don't even know what the website is. When i told my dad that he was like tipping me off for asking him what to do all the time. I was like, "Huh...?" Then mom told me he got drunk =.=". Dude, like seriously, he's getting drunk a LOT more frequent... Hope nothing happens. Maybe is because of his work that's totally screwing my dad up. i've heard from mom that things aren't going so well there.

Anyways, turned on the com only to find out that i need a reference number to register the PS3 as well as a serial number. I tried to find those, but failed. So i asked, "Dad where's the reference no.?" Wrong move man, got scolded =.=.

Tried to find again by clicking the, "Where's it it?" button on the page. The darn thing told me it was on the warranty card. I was like, warranty card?? When did we have that thing?? I went to literally overturn the whole PS3 package box as well the PS3 itself.

I got the serial number (Even though i found it was wrong, don't know why -__-) but couldnt find the warranty card. I didn't want to go ask again, but what the heck, i wouldn't get anywhere if i didn't ask.

"Dad, the serial no. is wrong and where's the..."

"How come wrong? You got get the correct one or not? Only know how to play but dunnoe how to do a simple thing like registering."

"Yah but it's not-"

"It's on the PS3 you know?"

"I know it's on the PS3 BUT its-"

"I don't care keep trying yourself."

"-__-. Yea, sure. And i need the reference no it's-"

"Can't you find it yourself? What is up with you?"

"-__-. I need the ca-"

"You got search the box?"

"-__-. yes but it's-"

"The PS3??"

"-.-. yea. But-"

"The manual?"

"-___-... Yes.."

"The receipt??"

"Yes. -__-"

"Then where is it!?"

"It's on the warranty card. -__-"

"That's what i've been trying to ask. -__-"

"Give me the receipt. I go get it from the guy when i have the time."

All these time i was busy ransacking the poor PS3 box for it and now he tells me he knows where it is. -__-". The next thing is the serial no. But i'll skip that part.

In the end, my dad finally gave up on it and i slept at 12am when i stopped playing at 9 -.-.

Ah heck, pretend nothing happened on the account he got drunk..

Woke up like 9am this morning and fell asleep till 10 o_o. Well the first thing that came into my mind was, "APPEAL, APPEAL, APPPPPEEEEAAAALL!!!!!" Wanted to get it over quick, i don't wanna go mad over this ><

When I was doing the appeal, quite funny lols. Usually people want change subject, but i only put the change of class then no change of subject. I was kinda worried that they wouldn't accept these kind of silly requests. But luckily, the staff there assured me that its allowed and possible, made me feel a lot better :D.

Got it done quickly and oh yah, to those wondering where the freak the booklists are, its in the general office. When i went there to get my appeal form, the lists were just beside. So yup! Hurry and go grab one xD.

Handed in my appeal form and went for break- er, i mean early lunch. Ate Mee Pok. For some reason ah, the noodles like a bit bitter de o_O. Ah well, went home and now blogging. Feel a lot better compared to yesterday, no point worrying about it anyways. I've done what i could so so the only thing left to do is wait.

Heh, not gonna worry anymore ler, gonna go play now xD

Gonna try a new game today (if i manage to find all the gold in bad company.. Blast those tanks which blasted the signs away D:) Can't wait though, cuz it's Ninja Gaiden: Sigma! xD

Wrong Class.... WRONG CLASS

3A!!?? That's like, the last thing i would ever wish for!!!!! Shit.... I wanted 3B, and heck was i right, 3B IS the class i want. The ONLY person i can talk/joke around with is jin hua. After looking through 3A class list i realised that i only know a few people, and i bet they aren't very... never mind... What's more is that 3B literally consists of the majority of 2C. It would be great if i could be in 3B.

Yup, I'm appealing for 3B. It sounds crazy AND impossible but f*** it, I'm gonna try anyways. If i don't succeed, Sec 3 and 4 wouldn't be as good as this year anymore, it would never be...

The biggest thing is that, my best friend is in 3B, not to mention wonderful close friends like leonard, jin chang.

This appeal would mean a lot to me. I don't want to be like last year i DON'T want to go back to my sec 1 life... It sucks..

Please, any of ya who read this, wish me luck at least, I'm gonna need a lot of it...

My "First" Post :D

Heh heh, i bet nobody's here to read this blog anymore xD. Well since the holidays are here, might as well update occasianally yea? Actually, i'm doing this post mainly because of something - to remember this class, 2C. So, if ya're not interested in reading me ranting about how wonderful this class is, ya can go to other blogs anytime~ ;D

So far, this is the only class that i actually look forward to everyday. Becuase of that, i actually WANT to come to school. I've never had that feeling before. All these years, from pri 1 to sec 1, i had never laughed so much. This year is really a big turn for me, and i wanna thank this class for it. I wasn't so cheerful before 2009, really, no kidding. I didn't laugh so much like i did this year. A lot of things happened in the previous years which were simply... depressing. I wouldn't say anything though.

The people in this class are simply awesome, no need for any exaggerating comments or whatsoever, just plain awesome. This is the first time that i actually see so many hillarious people in one class.

There are also a few people in which surprised me, people like joel, chia brothers, jin hua and many others, even the girls too! (Well, maybe a few exceptions, but they mostly are!) I actually thought that these were the "quiet" ones, in which they proved me very wrong shortly after xDD.

This was also the only year in which i went out with so many times. (I got scolding by my parents for going so much. But Heck! I wanna be with these guys.) Some of you may know that last year was the most horrendous one for me, which is why, all the more, this year was so good. I really hope we can stay in touch for as long as possible. Long Live 2C!! xD

The best part of this year? Heh heh, It's something i wanna keep to myself ;) All i can tell ya is it starts with "L".

That's the gist of this post, but i'm gonna type somemore below, it's all about games so yup anytime ya get bored ya can sidetrack anytime!

Holidays have come and i've been trying lotsa new games xD. These are the ones (it is arranged in which i played first)

Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty - Heck yea, this series is still as good as always. It never fails to make me go "Wow". It's pretty funny too xD. Too bad that the story is too short!! T_T. Well, not surprising cuz shortly after that i found out that it is only a short sneak peak on the sequel. If ya're looking for good games, go for the Ratchet and Clank series!

Fallout 3 - I'd first like to warn all gamers out there. If you have a weak heart, cannot tahan EXTREME blood and gore, can't stand suspense, can't stand realism, can't stand crudeness, can't stand inhumanity, can't shoot properly, can't stand insanity, can't stand hard difficulty games, can't stand depressing storyline and sidequests, do NOT, i repeat, DO NOT play this game.

Oh yes, it's rated M18 (for violence and gore NOT ****) I played 3/4 of this game until i finally gave up, it's too depressing. However, if you meet all the criteria mentioned above, you MUST go for this game. It's simply the best in terms of realistic gameplay.

There was once something very funny happened when i played this game. My sister was beside me, watching me play. I was trying to shoot a few enemies on the level above me, but it didn't seem to work. So, i wenta shoot a few more rounds before hiding on the side of the entrance and switched my weapon to the sledgehammer.

Was waiting for those guys to come out of there so i can ambush and whack em. Surprisingly, it actually worked, they DID come out. The funny part is that after the first guy kena concussion (more like headless) Both my sister and I said, "Next!!!!" at the same time. It kinda goes like this,

Sis, "It's not working."

Me, "Aie, wait, lemme try something."

Sis, "Ooh, i was kinda thinking of that too 8D" (No kidding the two of us thought the same idea)

Me, "Wait for it... Wait for it...!"

"!"

*WHAM*

Me/Sis, "Ha! Next!!!"

Pretty awesome, the way we sync so nicely never fails to surprise me xD. Totally breaks the tension in the game haha.

Bad Company: Battlefield - Kudos to this game. It kicks ass!! For some reason, the sniper rifle is your best buddy in this game. This was never the case for me in other FPS games. Also, if you like to blow things up, this game is just for you xD. With a sense of humor in the storyline, it never fails to make you wonder what you are going to be up with next. The weapon design and sound effects are awesome too. The action never stops too!

There's this thing in this game where you can choose to search for gold bars. It's all hidden in places scattered around a freaking large map. Also, the gold isn't as easy to find. I'd thought it will be like shining/glowing in the middle of nowhere to signify there's gold. But nope, the gold is in a silver case, which blends soooo nicely into the surroundings and make it difficult to spot. Well, there would be no fun it was so easy to find right? However, the producers did TRY to make it easier.

They placed a signboard that is half the size of a one-storey house (It's Big o_o) that has a red lightning strike printed on it on every gold location. It's to say, "There's gold heeeereee!!! Come and geett ittt!!!~" Whenever you see that sign you'll be frantically sprinting around in circles trying to spot a teeny tiny silver briefcase... Well, at least for me xD.

But the only problem is, like the title says "battlefield". The place IS literally a battlefield so even if there is the sign over there you won't see it cuz it's probably blasted to some 10 km away from the gold location by some tank shell by the time you get there.

Burnout: Legends - Okay it's not a new game i tried but it's still entertaining. It's fun to anyhow crash a car when ya just feel like it. But uh... I kinda gave up on this game. Well maybe is because my driving skills totally sucks but there's this Pursuit event in the "Sports" category. As it says, the cars are all sports cars, thus the speed is godlike (too much for me to handle ><)

The main aim is to crash this guy's car within the time limit with a police car. Since the category is "Sports" I'm forced to use a sports cop car (first time i heard of such a car O_O) And since its a SPORTS police car, i end up crashing my car instead of that guy's car.

It's not easy, plus the fact that the track you're at is filled with freaky twists and turns. Oh and there's oncoming traffic too.

It kinda changes the main aim, "Try not to crash your officer's car within the time limit!" Also, the guy i'm trying to chase is also using a sports car, so i have to go veeerryy fast to catch up with him, which results in the poor policeman's demise (whoever it is xD) So it kinda goes like this everytime,

"Vrrr, VRRR!!!! Beep-O~ Beep-O~ Beep-O! CRASH."

*Sounds of scrap metal colliding*

Your car spawns again.

"Okay, got the hang of it, yea right on track. Yeaa that's it. Wait, where's the target car?"

By that time, your target car has escaped already, which results in restarting, which, results in the repeated scene above. It's pretty funny the first few rounds, but ya'll get pretty pissed after that.

Heh, games are like the only things entertaining me now during the holidays xD. I kinda miss this year's school days. Tomorrow is the release of streaming results hope i can get into the same class as my friends :).

P.S I'll probably be updating often from now on~! But the posts will most likely be short since i'm not going out very often.

Why tml got school... T.T Lolx, sian nia if not i could have played until 12 midnight today Dx. Sigh, somemore My CCA resume tomorrow until 2nd week of June lehx!!! Dx. Dam suck... Take up my holiday T^T. Lolx but i'm looking forward to something tomorrow, hope Mrs Ang give us our report slip. i did pretty badly for this year's Mid year so i pray my previous tests would pull me up. And yea, results were out already now waiting for overall Dx.

Ah well, tomorrow has to come anyway. Oh yea, suddenly ah my classmate told me the class T-shirt was $21! =.=. Like what the hell so ex!!?? Me and ken considering whether to buy or not lorx but we donnoe yet cuz we sure a lot of people would disagree. Like seriously $21 for a T-shirt!? No way man! Sigh, i don't wanna stay back tomorrow.... I want go hooooome T^T Sian..

Nobuo Uematsu LIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahahahah, nono this blog aint no dead yet hell no! It's just cuz of the exams... yea... ehem anyway, i wanted to blog about yesterday but didnt had the time to do so cuz by the time we reached home it was like 12.30pm++ already. So yea gonna blog about yesterday!

Woke up quite late. As in seriously very late. Only had my eyes opened at 11am++. Lolx Went to me violin lesson then go back home play Dirge of Cerberus and wait for me sis come home so that we can go to the concert. Ya know what concert we going to? Final Fantasy - Distant Worlds!!!!!! xD. Nobuo Uematsu, the freaking pro composer, would be there too!! xDD. Had to travel quite alot before reaching Esplanade. Then wait for doors to open. When go inside ah, the hall very big lehx xDDD. We were on the second level sitting around the middle there. Very nice view also xDD. Looked at the brochure and realised the orchestra would be playing alot of songs all in Final Fantasy 1-10! xD When it was about to start ah, We saw Nobuo coming in and sitting down at the chair. Everybody was like in an uproar screaming, "NOBUO!!!!!!!!!!" Haha xDD. However ah, i never expect Nobuo to be so funny not ta mention cute too!! xD. He was like facing our direction, dunnoe why, and giving their old japanese traditional bow xD. His face very funny aso somemore got spotlight xD. The conductor also very funny, he seems to be a good friend of Nobuo though. Lolx it's like from a proper supposed to be high-class concert become like some school concert. The reason was cuz they would play videos on this giant screen according to what Final Fantasy version they are playing. So like example they playing a song from Final Fantasy V, they would play a video on that. It was damn funny cuz they somewhat screwed it xD.

Dont' Be Afraid from Final Fantasy 8 was damn funny. That song is a battle song so they first start the video before they play. The video was like showing Seifer pissing off Zell. Everybody cuz there was this dog beside them barking, dam extra hahaha xD Then as they run off to one bridge they encounter enemy, then during that time they start playing the battle song. Wah it was damn funny lehx! Somemore it really sounded from the video like that. Very very nice xD.

The best parts were when they played Final Fantasy I-III song - Medly. They wenta put the video on the super super old games of those three which are in sprite form. Omg it was damn funny. Ya can see Firion in his spastic form xD. I liked the Swing de Chocobo best. they added drums in and the song was very fun xD. Somemore they put videos of the chocobo also in sprite form. Like omg cuz the chocobo that time walks while shaking its ass. Haha! xD. However ah, the song from Final Fantasy nine, Vama ol something something, was ruined nia, cuz of the guitar soloist. He played pretty badly nia, sounded like a primary school kid playing Dx. but the rest of the songs make up for it, cuz they were reaaallly great! xD.

When the whole thing finish ah, the usual thing happened, everyone shouted, "ENCORE!!!!!!" Then the conductor who left a few seconds ago came back in xD. He was like saying, "i know Singaporeans like surprises yea? And you're thinking what i'm thinking you're thinking." Haha of course he meant we want the encore xD. They played Tina's theme, was great no doubt about it xD. Everybody clap finish liao hor then dunnoe why people shouted, "ENCORE!!!" again lehx!!! O.O then followed after a lot of people start shouting also. Then this time Nobuo come on stage xD. He was passed the microphone and the first thing he said was, "Ni Hao!" Omg i couldnt stop laughing man!!! Then he continue say, "I know how to speak chinese~" "Wo xe huang e pi ju" Hahah! He was saying i like to drink wine xD. Then they talk talk talk, and for some odd reason the conductor said that Nobuo requested if he can sing with choir! xD. Then he call Nobuo sing solo Haha!. But ah he really did lehx like omg lahx! But of course it was horrendous but very funny xD He was attempting to sing One Winged Angel Haha xD.

Then after that, Nobuo said that he wanted to remix two battle songs and want our votes xD. There were five choices to choose from but i forgot a few, There was, Dancing Man, Jenova and Fight with Seymour. I forgot the other two Dx. He asked us to cheer/scream as loud as you can for the one you want. Then the one with the loudest one would be chosen. The two that i forgot nobody really shouted much xD. First was Dancing Man, Screaaaaam!!!!. Then Fight with Seymour, Silent.... Wah that one damn funny xD. Then Jenova, Screaaaaaaam!!!!!. Of course winner is Jenova and Dancing man xD. They say they may hold another concert in Singapore this year and add in this two new songs. oh man i can't wait, i'll make sure i get the tickets xDDD. It was like silent for awhile. Then the conductor was like, "You know i'm thinking what you're thinking right? One Winged Angel!!" Everybody started screaming man. The surprising thing was i never expect them to really do a second encore~! Then after that ah, Nobuo went to run to the side of the choir group and pick up the mini score sia! Haha damn funny! That song was the BEST of all the rest. Oh man it was reaaaalllyy good!!!!!!!!

When finish my sister went to chiong down for autograph of Nobuo. I waited awhile before going down. Wa lao i thought my sister fast but she was like all the way at he back sia! Crazy people O.O". Waited for quite awhile for Nobuo and Arnir(The Conductor) to come out though. Probably harrased by the people who remained in the concert hall xD. Then once the both of them come out everybody started to whip out their cameras and Chik Chek!. I was too short man so i waited awhile let the people in front have thier fill before squeezing to the front and chik chek also xD. And here are the photos!!!!
